You amazing image shows one person enslaved by listening only to the brainwashing type of news - and another person who has decided to cut the puppet strings, to make up his own mind and then listen to his own truth. Great Art. :-)

John Alexander replied:

Absolutely correct my friend! It is great to hear from you Hartmut. Thank you for dropping by for a visit.

It was so nice of you to make my day with your warm comments John. I just had to turn up! I have not commented on this wonderful piece before though I have been aware of it.Reason being, I could be here all day trying to explain why it is so compelling to me,and ending up writing some incoherent essay! I love your description and would simply add that for me it works on a very subtle level as well, reminding me how we all deny our true feelings and motives in many ways through lack of what I would call true "mindfulness". It feels like a lifetime's practice not to hide from anything and to face things fully. I can't tell you how impressed I am by your ability to express ideas, thoughts and emotions in such brilliant imagery. In awe! L/F

John Alexander replied:

Oh wow Jane... thank you so much! I absolutely love your thoughts on this image. It is one of my favorite things to hear other interpretations of these images. Your kind words mean the world. I know how limited your time is Jane. For you to drop by and take the time to leave such heartwarming words is not something I take lightly. Thank you so very much my dear Jane.

This is a compelling, paradigm shifting work of art John! I really like how you represented the hidden puppetmaster, his puppet, and the unsuspecting brainwashed observer, ready to have his/her own strings pulled. Keep up the myth busting work!

John Alexander replied:

Great comment Susan! Thank you so much for taking the time to not only look, but share your wonderful thoughts!
