I revisit this haunting piece and see your response to my first. It may ease your mind a bit as I have inquired many of the very finest artists at FAA as to $$$. Result is that I have not run across anyone who is selling much here. You are not alone and sales are no judge of talent at all. Well done on this one.

John Alexander replied:

Reynold my friend, thank you so very much for the kind words. It is a truly difficult thing for us artists in this day and age. While we work and work and work to make something tangible that previously did not exist, many people simply do not see what it really takes to make it happen. To a non-artist, our efforts are merely something to look at before moving on to other things. To fellow artists, we look at each others work and marvel at the ingenuity behind each creation. We have a keen understanding of the efforts put forth, and as such, we understand and appreciate each other in a way that is tough to describe to others. As always, it is so wonderful to hear from you. Sorry that I have been away... I am so busy now. My life takes me away from my art of late.

Oooo I can feel this perfectly John. besides the wonderful landscape and the feel of it, I am enjoying the emotional aspect of this piece. You are so good with matching the title with each work as well. 'A mind rusting way'...I love that!

John Alexander replied:

Thank you so much Randy. I have to be honest... I was a bit surprised that so few here have taken to this one. I'm pretty sure it is because I love it so much... I just figured more would dig it too lol. Glad that you like it my friend... it is always great to hear from you.

My Goodness! John! Yes--"A mind is a terrible thing to waste!" is taken to a whole new level with this one. I would bet the powers to be will never use this art in their campaign. You have at least one dedicated fan for everything you do.

John Alexander replied:

Ha! I do not think the powers that be would use ANYTHING that I do! I truly am thankful for the support my friend. It truly does show me that I am not wasting my time. THANK YOU.
