After millenia of suffering with souls laid bare, the Penitent seek audience with the one who could end the sorrow. For Ages the Penitent wandered the underworld, so much time spent in dull agony that time itself ceased to be. A moment or an era? A second or a century? The sins of the past which lead to this suffering have long been forgotten.
Standing before The Lord of Perdition, facing the one who never forgets the sins of the past... the one who has the power to allow The Penitent to resume the journey upon The River of Time, or to damn them for eternity... The Penitent Plea for release. Has atonement been achieved? Will The Lord of Perdition step aside and allow The Penitent to pass beyond the borders of The Underworld and resume the spirits journey along The River of Time?
What ending awaits?

Thank you for your letter. I can't help but think that a novel could be written around your haunting images. I can see that you are a writer who could very well bring it together---Just random thoughts here--- Ridley Scott's images in his Sci Fi work come to mind as I imagine that art inspired the haunting/beautiful images in his movies. I'll be back many times my friend from across the waters in Michigan. FAV
John Alexander replied:
Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts Reynold. I actually am thinking about a project along the lines of what you mention. Sadly, time is all too often an issue. You are always welcome back my friend. I always look forward to your insights.
