Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion, too Imagine all the people Livin' life in peace You You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us And the world will be as one Imagine no possessions I wonder if you can No need for greed or hunger A brotherhood of man Imagine all the people Sharing all the world You You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us And the world will live as one -- Imagine, John Lennon

Indeed, your masterful depiction and astute description of your great image is - a most wonderful dream as things should be. Alas, the genie is out and can not be put back. I think the only thing that can be done, as you do with your art, is to remind ourselves again and again - of what our Real and True Values are, so as not to get sucked in and drowned in the murky waters of greed - and of only wanting more and more material goods.

John Alexander replied:

Your words closely mirror my thoughts my friend. You are so completely right about the genie having been released from the bottle. Now we have no other recourse other than to do what you so eloquently pointed out... that being to find whatever ways we can to remind ourselves of what is truly important in life. Is it more important to make money, or to see your loved ones smile when they see you?

Hi John... I have not looked at your work for a while... thought I would pay back your visit to me. I had forgotten just how good your images and descriptions are... brilliant portrayals of the human condition. have a great xmas and new year my fellow surrealist messenger and keep up the good work... I know how long these creations take to perfect.

John Alexander replied:

It is great to hear from you Chas! I am really enjoying your current run of work my friend... you really are on a roll. Thank you for the kind and supportive words. It means a lot when fellow artists share their thoughts and I appreciate that a lot. Happy holidays to you as well.

This piece radiates the truth Master John. Our distant ancestors were simple cave dwellers. They relied on one another for the propagation of the species. The land supplied their basic needs such as food, water and shelter which begs the question: If future humans revert back to a primitive existence, will there be anything left for them..clean water or untainted food? With today`s unscrupulous and greedy leaders, I would say much is in doubt. Only time will tell....add another gold to your expanding collection Sir John

John Alexander replied:

Your words mirror the very society that you have so expertly painted repeatedly... that of the Native American Indians. I suppose it would be the peak of ignorance to assume such philosophies could return to a world of Wal Mart and Macy's. Still... it is fun to hope, isn't it? Thank you my friend. Your support has more meaning that my words can express.

John, this postscript to your Futurist saga offers hope that the story is far from over, The warmth emanating from this little Sprig of Life (barren, like the rest of this Alexandrian society) overrides all other considerations in tipping your artistic hand... Whew!

John Alexander replied:

Despite the dark, doom riddled nature of many of my images, I honestly DO have hope! As always Mr. Levine, I appreciate and look forward to your thoughts. Thank you for taking the time to share them my friend.

Very interesting digital artworks you have created John. This one grabs my attention - it expresses hope for the stony figures - the tree, creation - trees for me are always a sign of renewal and and growth for the fruits they bring and of course the light in the darkness.

John Alexander replied:

Thank you for looking Caroline. I am very happy to hear from you!
